We're home! We had a great time at Camp Artaban, and Katie turned out to be a great little camper.
Here is our bedroom in the director's cabin. Notice Katie's piles of clothing on the top bunk. We had enough stuff for the entire summer! Hanging out between craft sessions...

Here's Katie and Nana.....
Aaah, Katie's fallen asleep during campfire, to sweet lullaby songs such as "Going on a Lion Hunt" and "Rickabamboo." Katie did really well at camp and will probably never be sick given the number of dirty little fingers that touched her and went into her mouth. The kids were really sweet with her, and some of the girls thought it would be "really cool" if they would one day be Katie's counsellors when she was old enough for camp. Nana also succeeded in almost making Valerie a crafty person, although she's still not sure how to start and end macrame bracelets.
